Are you tired of losing points while you rush to the net? Are you deathly afraid of no-man’s land? Does the term split make you cringe as you think about stretching somewhere that you might have been neglecting?
Well, it’s time to learn about the “split step”, if it’s not a solid foundation of your game. You’re going to win more points as you approach the net, you’ll stop fearing no-man’s land, and it really doesn’t take any extra flexibility.
I’ll leave it to Coach Mo in the video to explain below, but it’s a simple concept that every player can benefit from. Stop blindly rushing the net and earn your way forward. I promise your shots and your game will greatly improve with this simple change in focus.
